There is still much more work to do to ensure a safe, healthy, and equal future for all LGBTIQ+ people in Africa. We’ve witnessed the current emerging state sanctioned LGBTQ human rights violence in Uganda and Namibia this is evidence that our hard fight for equality rights is never guaranteed. Therefore, we shall continue to fight unstoppable for sustainable equality and democracy for all African LGBTIQ community. No rights worth then other rights without all People and LGBT+ communities to full live Constitutionally protected, welcomed, heard, and represented in all state sectors. There is no equality for some without equality for all, and we are united in our determination to build a better Africa We Want to affirm democracy, inclusion and Equal rights for every single person in our beautifully diverse family of Africa.
That’s why we launched our new campaign, ALL Lives Matter-Africa, which aims to raise the voices of all LGBT and invisible citizens in the eyes of government, including those who have been underrepresented or marginalised for too long. Our campaign will bring our communities together to change attitudes and behaviours in the wider state sector and society.
ALL LIVES MATTER will create a regional, international social movement for change, campaign to protect and extend LGBT rights, and dynamical challenge prejudice and discrimination wherever it exists in all state sectors.
We are committed to protecting and advancing the rights of all LGBTIQ+ people. We will always continue to support and champion the full diversity of LGBT communities, despite those who wish to divide us.
The campaign will bring all Global LGBTIQ+ communities together to challenge prejudiced inequality, radical raise awareness and change hearts and minds in wider state sector and society. We have seen from recent campaigns, such as the ShuttItAllDown campaign, that when our communities come together were able to mobilise policy-makers, SGBV activist, CSO’s champions, and the wider public under the banner of ALL LIVES MATTER
